29 days of awareness is the name of my personal project made in 2022.
Every year animals suffer with fireworks. 
Animals are used to storms because the noises are accompanied by previous warning signs, so that animals can perceive them in advance. This can cause them anguish in anticipation, but it does not cause them the unexpected fright caused by fireworks, which are sudden and not identifiable.
Even brief displays of fireworks are a risk not only for pets but also for farm and zoo animals, and wildlife.
During these 29 days I want to illustrate some of the known animals that tried to run and hide during or after fireworks but got confused, disoriented, lost, injured, have got permanent illnesses such as ear loss or trauma because of the loud and frightening explosions. Some of them even died.
